The 9 Systems I Use to Run a Multiple Six-Figure Online Human Design Reading Business

Hi! I’m Taylor Eaton, I’m a 5/1 Splenic projector and a Human Design and money mindset expert. 

I have helped hundreds of people become Human Design readers AND I’ve built my own thriving Human Design based business.


And I have done more than 300 hundred private Human Design readings over the last few years alone. 


And since I get asked all the time how to build a Human Design reading business, I wanted to create a blog post here on the systems or softwares that I use for my Human Design readings. 

So this will be an overview of the programs I use - and general workflow I go through - for my Human Design readings. 

NOTE: There are alternatives to pretty much all of the softwares I talk about in this post - these are just the ones I use. But don’t feel like you have to use all of these exact programs. 

Some of these things I mention are free, some are paid. And not every program will be something you NEED to use - especially if you’re just starting out as a reader. I run a multiple six-figure business, so some of these programs make sense for me to invest in but they may not for you. 

There are also even areas where I could streamline things a bit more - and I’ll mention those here - but this is how my business is currently structured due to the way it grew. 

As always, take what works for you and leave what doesn’t. 

I’m going to run through EVERYTHING I use here. But at the end of this post I will give you a rundown of the most essential ones I think you need if you’re just starting out and don’t want to invest quite as much time and money as I have here. 

Alright, let’s dive in!

System #1: Squarespace

My website - and therefore my sales page for my readings - is built through SquareSpace. 

My readings are currently fully booked, so right now there’s no option to purchase, but just to join the waitlist for when readings are available.

When readings are available to purchase, this wait list form gets removed from the sales page and I - or my team - add in a button here for people to click. 

That button takes them to the next software I use, which is…

System #2: Acuity

Acuity is my calendar and scheduling app. It allows people to select a time to book, and then it prompts them to fill out a questionnaire I created (which allows me to capture the info I need from them to pull up their HD chart), I can have them agree to certain terms and conditions, and then it allows clients to pay and check out.

It also sends out an auto email to the client confirming their appointment, giving them links to reschedule their appointment, the link for our call, and a reminder before their appointment. It also emails me whenever someone books, so that I know. Plus it can sync with my Google calendar on my phone, which is great. 

I love having a calendar app like this that just automates ultimately the entire booking process and makes the experience seamless for my clients. Plus, it allows me to have people book without needing me to coordinate back and forth with them. 

I have a paid version of Acuity, though a free version is available. (Some of the features I mentioned here do not come with the free version.) 

I believe Acuity might also allow you to do a bundle of calls and do coupon codes - but whenever I do any of that I actually use something different, which is…

System #3: Kajabi

This one is NOT one I would recommend JUST for readings. Or just for beginners. 

Kajabi is a whole client management system, emailer, course hosting platform, funnel builder, it has checkout pages, etc. 

It's an insanely robust platform - and that means that it’s also significantly more expensive than Acuity. 

This is more for if you have a ton of different offers (especially passive, self-paced programs you want to host somewhere), like I do. 

When it comes to HD readings, I use Kajabi for my recurring private clients, or clients that are buying a package that includes more than just HD readings (like if they’re buying a package that includes Voxer support or access to other programs I’ve created), etc. 

When I have clients checkout through Kajabi, I often then send them directly to my Acuity calendar to book their calls there (without having to pay).

I believe Kajabi also has a calendar feature, so if you’re going to use Kajabi, you could put it all in one place. I just set up Acuity long before I had Kajabi, so I’ve just stuck with that. 

So if you’re just starting out, something like Acuity is probably the way to go. And depending on what you do in your business, you may never need something like Kajabi.

BUT if you already have a lot of other passive offers, masterclasses, etc. that sort of thing and you want a place to host all of it, I really like Kajabi.

So whether people are booking through either Kajabi or Acuity, in order to actually process their payments, I use my next softwares which are… 


System #4 & #5: Stripe and PayPal

Both Stripe and PayPal integrate with Kajabi and Acuity. And are pretty standard in the payment processing industry. I like them both. 

You don’t NEED both. Just one method of payment can work. I just like offering those options for my clients. 

Once my client has booked a reading, it’s time for me to pull up their chart and prepare any notes before our reading.

To pull up their chart, I use…

System #6: mybodygraph.com

There are a lot of chart softwares out there. I personally love mybodygraph.com. 

It’s free to create an account with and use (though it does have some add-ons you can purchase). 

I love it because it allows me to not just pull up charts, but also SAVE them. Which a lot of platforms don’t let you do. 

So yeah, definitely my favorite chart software. 

Now to prepare for readings and make notes, I use…

System #7: The Ultimate Human Design Reader Resource

To be fully transparent, this is my own product. ;) 

I created the Ultimate HD Reader Resource to help other people become HD readers. And one of the features of it is a whole cheat sheet vault that has HUNDREDS of pages of PDFs. 

So I pull from there to quickly gather notes on someone’s chart before doing a reading with them.

So that’s how I compile my notes for readings.

>>> Now in my workflow is when I actually do my reading. For this, I use…

System #8: Zoom

I like Zoom just because I can do video (or just audio if my client prefers) and I can share my screen to show them their chart. 

Zoom also allows me to record the call - which is great because I love getting to share the recordings with my clients. Because I throw A LOT of info at people during readings and it’s nice for people to get to rewatch it afterwards so they aren’t trying to take tons of notes during the call & can be fully present for it. 

I do have an upgraded paid version of Zoom that gives me extra storage space for my call recordings and some other features that aren’t available in the free version of Zoom. 

>>> Once the call is done, all that’s left is for me to send the recording of it to my client. And for that I use… 

System #9: Gmail

Really, any email client will work for this. 

I use Gmail since I have purchased my custom domain email for my business through them. 

So all I do is just grab the replay link from my Zoom recordings, paste it into an email for the clients and then send it off. 

As a side note, I usually give people a week to download their recording (and I let them know this upfront) before I remove it from my Zoom storage. 

So that’s it! That’s the rundown.

If you are just starting out doing online Human Design readings and want to invest the least amount of money into your readings, here’s what I think is really essential out of all these tools:

  • A way to communicate with your clients (email, messenger app, etc.) before and after the reading

  • A way to collect payments (PayPal, Stripe) 

  • A calendar for you to record your appointments on so you don’t forget them (this can be a physical calendar or your phone’s calendar or something like Acuity to make the booking process easier)

  • A way to pull up their HD chart (mybodygraph.com)

  • A way for you to actually do the call (and possibly record it if you’re offering the recording as part of what the client gets) (Zoom)

And really, you can do all of that for basically free or really low cost. 

I do not recommend investing in ALL the systems I have right now until you’re making some money with your readings. 

Really, all these systems just create more ease and automation for me and my clients. 

Start with just the free versions of these things or upgrade to a few of the paid versions to start, and then grow from there.

4 Step Strategy to Sell Human Design Readings

Hi, I’m Taylor Eaton! I’m a 5/1 Splenic Projector and a Human Design and money mindset expert.

A few years ago I started offering Human Design readings in my business. Since then, I’ve done over 300 private readings, I’ve worked with thousands of people in my Human Design related programs, and I’ve built a thriving multiple six-figure business based off of my Human Design offerings.

And it all started with offering HD readings.

When I first started out, I remember wanting to offer readings after going through a reader training program…but I wasn’t really taught any of the business side of offering readings and couldn’t find any resources out there on how to actually get started with booking readings.


So that’s what we’re doing here today!

I want to give you a simple strategy you can follow to start offering readings in a way that helps you build your confidence in your ability to both sell readings AND actually give the readings - all while setting you up for a successfully booked out Human Design reading business or side-gig in the long run. 

Before we dive in, I just want to say that this is just ONE strategy for starting to offer readings. 

There are so many marketing and business strategies out there. I am always a fan of finding strategies that work for YOU as an individual - we’re all different, and what works for one person doesn’t always work for someone else. 

This is part of why I got into using Human Design for business - so if you’re interested in how your HD can be used to structure your business and create strategies that work for you - I have a free video + some programs around that.


But, for this blog post, read through this super simple strategy I’m going to give you here and then take what works for YOU and leave what doesn’t. 

Use this as a template, a jumping off point, or just general inspiration for you to help find the strategy YOU want to implement in order to start getting your readings out into the world. 

What I’m NOT discussing in this post is how to create an audience for you to market your readings to - that’s an entirely different discussion for another time. Today we’re just covering how you actually start offering Human Design readings and get paid for them! 


So let’s say you already have a business that you’re just now adding Human Design readings into or you already have a social media presence where your followers are interested in spirituality or Human Design…

Then this strategy I’m going to give you is likely going to be very easy for you to implement.

If you are BRAND new to business or you have no audience or social media following that you can sell your readings to, you can still implement the steps I’m going to give you here, but you may not see much traction. So if that’s the case, focus on building up an audience or getting more strategic with WHERE you’re going to market/sell your readings. And then use this strategy. 


Okay, let’s dive into the actual strategy! 

So let’s say you’ve studied Human Design, you have a solid understanding of the HD system, and you want to start offering HD readings…

Here’s the strategy I used years ago to start offering readings and create a sold-out reading practice from Day 1 - and the same strategy that tons of my clients have used to launch their own HD reading business. 


Step 1. Do Practice Readings

If you haven’t done ANY readings before (especially if you didn’t do any practice readings in whatever HD reader training program you may have taken)...

Or if you just don’t feel confident in giving readings yet…

Start by doing some practice readings.

These are typically readings that you offer for free to friends or family. 

If you have an audience already, you can offer some practice readings to them, but personally I wouldn’t recommend giving free readings to your audience and then turning around and charging for them. In my experience, that just waters down your authority as a reader to your audience.

You can be transparent with your audience and say “this is a new service I’m offering!” once you start charging for readings (which we’ll talk about in our next step), but when you give a new service away for free in order to “practice” and then start charging shortly after it - it doesn’t have the same sense of authority and demand for the service. 

That’s just my take on it - do what works for you! 

Some people want to dive right into giving paid readings - so if you feel ready for that, you can skip this step.

But I’d say about 90% of people I’ve helped to become readers have felt the most resistance to actually charging for their readings.

Doing a few practice readings - like maybe 3-5 - can help you build your confidence and work out any of the logistics or unexpected challenges of giving a reading before you actually start charging for them. 

If you feel comfortable with it, ask the people you do these practice readings for for their honest feedback so you can improve as a reader. 

Also, ask them for a review or testimonial that you can share later on. 

As I mentioned, I would limit your practice readings to maybe 5 total. I don’t want you getting stuck in doing TONS of free readings. This is a surefire way to burnout and keep yourself from ever actually making money with your readings. 

I know it can feel terrifying to start charging, but I’m going to help you with this right now in our next step…


Step 2. Offer Your First Paid Readings at a Discounted Price

So this is the step where you actually get to start getting paid for your readings!

Which is so EXCITING! 

That feeling of booking your first paid reading is so amazing. 

But getting to that point can feel a little intimidating.

So here’s my favorite strategy for easing yourself into charging for readings, creating immediate demand for your readings, AND setting yourself up to more easily sell your future readings - this is where the magic is! 

What you’re going to do here is offer a limited number of discounted Human Design readings to your audience. 

Again, this is the point in this strategy where if you don’t already have some sort of audience or client base to sell to - you may hit a wall here. 

So if that’s you, instead of diving into this step, start thinking about how you can build an audience for your readings (whether on social media, online, or locally) - or how you can maybe leverage someone else’s audience or client base and sell your readings to them (either through some sort of partnership or in other peoples’ communities where promotion is allowed). THEN implement this strategy. 


In order to offer discounted readings, here’s what you need to do:

  • First, decide what the full price of your readings is going to be.
    This isn’t meant to be the highest price you’ll ever charge for readings. It’s just going to be the highest price you charge FOR NOW. 

  • Then, decide how much you want to discount it for your first several readings.
    Give a really attractive discount. I’d recommend at least 25% off. Even up to 50% off. 

  • Next, decide how MANY discounted readings you want to give.
    I recommend somewhere between 5 to 10.

  • Lastly - and this part is key - announce this to your audience and make it clear that the discounted price is in exchange for a testimonial/review of your reading.
    So everyone who purchases at this discounted price is agreeing to write a review that you can share publicly after you do the reading for them.
    This is so important for 2 reasons:
    The main reason is because having this social proof - these reviews - can be put on your sales page for your readings or shared on social media and does wonders for helping future potential clients feel confident in booking a reading with you. It just makes it easier to sell readings in the future and create a booked out reading practice.
    The other reason is because actually hearing what people loved about a reading will bolster your confidence as a reader! And that’s wildly important!
    A side note here: sometimes people forget to write a review after you do these discounted readings. Please be sure to gently and professionally follow up with people once or twice after your readings if you don’t receive their review within a week or so of the reading. You can also give them a couple simple prompts to help them write the review because sometimes people just don’t know where to start. I like asking questions like “What did you like most about the reading?” or “What was your favorite part of the reading?”


To give you an example of what this looks strategy looks like in action, here’s how I did it years ago when I started offering HD readings publicly! 

Below is a screenshot of the post I did to announce this so you can see how I structured it. 

So what I did was:

  • I decided that my full price for HD readings would be $197 (I now charge more for readings, but this is was I started with)

  • I offered 10 readings at $97 (just over half off of the full price)

  • I announced this to my audience in a Facebook post (at the time, most of my audience was in my private FB group) 

  • The only thing I didn’t do in this post was to say that the discounted readings were in exchange for a review from the client (I asked for reviews from the people who booked the discounted readings, and most happily wrote a beautiful review from me - but having helped others implement this strategy in the last few years, I’d highly recommend saying it upfront so that you’re more likely to get those reviews & feel less awkward in asking for them after the fact)

This is how I sold out my first batch of readings in 24 hours (48 hours if you count the day previously where I first sold some of these to my clients in the membership program I was running at the time) and then created a solidly booked out HD reading calendar for about 2 years (until I stopped giving one-off readings - now most of my income comes from my passive HD programs). 

People were so excited to get these discounted readings that they sold out quickly. 

And the people who didn’t buy in time to get the discounted reading saw them sell out quickly and wanted to book at the full price! 

And if they didn’t book immediately the full price, they saw the subsequent reviews that the people who got the discounted readings wrote, and then purchased at full price. 

Now, I want to be clear here: I did have a very warm audience when I implemented this strategy because I’d already been doing mindset and business coaching for a couple years at that point. So my results will not necessarily be your results. It all depends on where you’re starting from in terms of your business and audience. We’re all at different points of our journeys! 

In terms of pricing, you may feel comfortable starting with these same rates I did - especially if you’re already in business. Or maybe you’ll charge more. I’ve had a lot of clients charge less to start ($100 full price for a reading, so offering discounted readings at $50). Use your HD authority to determine what the aligned price is for you to start with.

Overall, I love this part of the strategy because it is so simple, doesn’t require any fancy funnels or icky sales tactics, and creates demand and confidence in your readings. 

And - let’s be honest - people love a good discount.  PLUS, offering a limited number of discounted readings creates some urgency, but it also gives you some public accountability to keep you from falling into the trap of never charging full price for your readings. Which leads us to our next step…

Step 3. Offer Readings at Full Price

Once you’ve done your discounted readings and received your reviews from those clients, be sure to add those reviews to your readings sales page if you have one! Then open up readings at full price. 

I know this sounds like a really simple step, but as I already mentioned, it’s REALLY easy to get stuck charging your discounted rate. 

In business, we often get comfortable charging one rate and then feel like people might not buy at a higher rate.

So this is where it’s really important to stretch yourself to step into offering your readings at your full price. 

Use those reviews from the discounted readings to help sell the full price readings. 

Continually market and promote your readings. 

And, when you do book full price readings, don’t be afraid to ask for a review from people at the end of those readings or after the readings (especially if you follow up with an email that gives them a recording of the reading or notes from the reading or anything like that - you can ask for a review then - bonus points if you create some sort of form that people can easily fill out to create their review for you). 

Step 4. Raise Your Rates Over Time

I don’t recommend raising your rates rapidly - unless you’re starting out charging really low prices for your readings. 

But, maybe every 12 months or so, revisit your rates for your readings and determine whether you want to raise them at all. 

Or maybe you want to totally restructure your readings and charge an entirely different price altogether. 

I will say that if you are finding yourself consistently booked out, definitely consider raising your rates.

For me, I went from $197 per reading, to $250 I believe, to $300. I increased my rates every year or so and especially when I was consistently booked out and people were booking like 2-3 months or more in advance to get a reading with me. 

In some cases, this did result in less bookings overall, but I still stayed consistently booked out  - maybe just less further out in the future - and was making more money overall. 

Just to give you an idea of how many readings I was booking: I started out offering 6 readings per week, then raised my rates and went down to 4 readings per week. Now I no longer regularly offer one-off readings, but instead have recurring readings & coaching sessions with private clients which are usually booked out at a much higher rate - and I typically have anywhere from 3-5 private clients in various packages where some are doing 1 call per month and others are doing 4 per month. 

I’m a Projector and a mom, so I’m never trying to do 40 hours a week of readings. Readings have never been my ONLY source of income in my business - I’ve made much more money and helped more people doing group or self-paced programs - but readings did create the foundation of my business for a while AND brought in over $4k/month on their own for a long time, which was more than I used to make in my full time job. 

And some of my clients do make their money primarily through readings since that’s what they love. So you can absolutely make a full time living off of readings alone if you want to - or just a nice supplemental income. 

Also, it’s worth noting that there isn’t a limit on how much you can charge and how much people will pay. 

But just make sure that any time you change your pricing, that it feels aligned for you per your HD authority and makes sense for your audience. 

Depending on who you’re working with and if you have a specific niche that you’re doing readings in, you may find that there’s a sweet spot for pricing that you don’t really want to deviate from too much. 

For example, if you’re doing readings for high-level entrepreneurs and how they can use HD in their businesses to create more income, you will likely have an easier time selling your readings at a higher price point than someone who is for example doing introductory HD readings or readings for parents looking to better understand their children via HD. 

For me, with my niche being more in the entrepreneurial space, it’s been easy for me to charge my higher price points.

So that’s it! That’s the strategy! 

Super simple.

Take it, adapt it however you like!

Over the last few years, I’ve built a thriving Human Design centered business that has generated multiple six-figures and helped thousands of people. 

And today I want to share with you my top 3 secrets that I don’t really talk about very much - hence why they’re “secrets” -  that give you a peek behind the scenes of being a Human Design reader and entrepreneur. 

I hope what I talk about here will help you become a better reader, have more confidence as an entrepreneur, and also just help you feel less alone in this entrepreneurial journey. 

Secret #1. I use notes during my readings

I use notes all the time! And if you’re a newer reader, then I want you to hear me when I say “It is OKAY to use notes during your readings.” 

This isn’t something I really viewed as a “secret” for a while, until I started hearing this come up from my clients. 

Ultimately, as I started training more people to become Human Design readers, I heard so many people say the same thing, which was: 

“I’m worried I’m going to forget something during a reading.”

And it occurred to me that people were trying to MEMORIZE every last thing about Human Design. 

Human Design has SO many layers and components. 

And while I believe you should have a thorough understanding of each part of the bodygraph so that you can give seamless and comprehensive readings, you don’t have to have everything MEMORIZED. 

For example, I know each of the gates and channels in the Human Design chart. 

But I also have notes that I pull up during readings and refer to if I feel like maybe I’m forgetting a key part of a gate or I’m blanking out on the name of a channel. 

The way I have my setup is I have two monitors. I have my Zoom call with my client on it on one screen, and on my second screen I have their chart and my notes. 

So I will often tell people at the beginning of a call that I have their chart and my notes on the screen off to the side, so if they see me looking that way, they know that’s what I’m looking at and that I’m not distracted during our reading.

I once had a client who was starting to offer Human Design readings tell me that she was worried that having notes would make her seem unprofessional - like she didn’t know what she was talking about.

And I think this is a really common fear for anyone who is an entrepreneur - but especially in the Human Design world.

We have this unrealistic expectation of ourselves that we have to be PERFECT. 

But the truth is, I’ve never had anyone complain about my use of notes.

I don’t think it makes me look incompetent. In fact, I think it makes me a more confident and well-prepared reader. 

In fact, in that conversation with my client who was afraid of using notes - I had started that call off by saying “Let me just pull up the notes I made for your chart before we dive in.” 

And so when she expressed her fear of using notes, I asked her “When we started this call and I told you I was pulling up the notes I’d made about your chart, did you think I was unprofessional?”

She immediately chuckled and said “No, actually it made me feel special. Like oh, she took time to look at my chart beforehand and she’s so prepared.” 

So please, if you want to, use notes. Don’t just lean on them the whole reading and just read them word for word to your clients. But if it helps you give better readings, there’s nothing wrong with it! 

Secret #2. I used to spend way too long preparing for readings

Earlier on in my Human Design career, I used to spend HOURS preparing for each reading I did. 

My prep time for readings used to be longer than the actual readings themselves. 

I would extensively study each clients’ chart days before our reading and make pages and pages of notes. Most of which we didn’t even cover during a reading. But I wanted to be prepared for whatever might come up during our session. 

And at first, as I was still finding my footing as a new reader, I think this was a good thing for me to do. 

It was excessive, but it helped me really deepen my understanding of Human Design and hone my skills as a reader. 

And it helped me feel confident when I showed up for the calls. 

But - this is where the “secret” part comes in - I over prepared for readings WAY longer than I needed to. 

Like, even a year into having my fully booked out reading practice, I was still spending way too much time preparing notes for each session.

After I did a few readings where I forgot to even refer to that person’s notes at all, I realized I was wasting way too much time on preparing for these readings.

A huge part of this was because I had imposter syndrome and I was so worried what people would think about me.

And also, people were paying a few hundred bucks for these readings, I didn’t want to disappoint them or blank out and not be able to deliver a powerful reading.

This is a large part of why I created the Ultimate Human Design Reader Resource - which is my reader training program, which comes with a vault of hundreds of PDF cheat sheets that make it super quick to compile notes for readings. (I also created a free checklist to help you prepare for and structure your readings, which you can grab here.)

Like I said in the previous secret - I still use notes in my readings, but they’re compiled in about 10 minutes or so using the cheat sheets in the Ultimate HD Reader Resource. Most of the time I don’t even refer to the notes, but I always have them open on my second screen just in case I want to use them. And I think that’s a much healthier & sustainable approach to giving readings. 

So if you’re newer to HD, give yourself permission to spend a lot of time preparing for a reading. It’ll help you really hone your skills as a reader overall. 

But if you have been giving readings for a while, make sure you aren’t giving into that imposter syndrome and letting it rob you of your time. You likely know enough and have developed your reading style enough to not need tons of notes and prep time. 

Secret #3. I still doubt myself as a reader sometimes

This is something I’ve talked about with my audience before in terms of general entrepreneurship - because I think it’s important to know that no matter how successful you will still have moments of self-doubt and imposter syndrome.

This is true for pretty much everyone in every industry out there. As you grow in business, you will outgrow old doubts, but adopt new doubts. Or see old doubts playing out on new levels or in new ways. 

But I want to talk about this specifically in the context of Human Design readings. 

Because Human Design is this weird mix of being VERY specific with the system and the miniscule details of the bodygraph and very open to interpretation. 

This creates a prime environment for readers to doubt themselves. 

To feel like they don’t know enough, no matter how much they know.

Or to feel like they don’t know how to give a reading that will actually help people. 

Because the truth is that we all have different skills and different strengths - because, we all have our unique designs - and that means that no two people will give readings in the same way or have the same reading style. 

So what I want to communicate to other readers here is that it’s normal to have some level of self-doubt, or imposter syndrome, or to worry whether people will be happy with the reading you give them. 

But you can’t let yourself reside in that self-doubt for too long.

What I do when I feel this self-doubt is two things:

  1. I look at my own Human Design chart and remind myself of MY gifts and what I bring to the table as a reader (so basically, I validate the hell out of myself and pump myself up).

  2. I look at past reviews that clients have written about the readings I’ve done for them. I remind myself of the amazing results people get from my readings and from the impact I have. 

The truth is that not everyone will love your readings. 

Occasionally, you’ll have a dissatisfied customer. That’s the nature of business. Because once you reach a wide enough audience and work with enough people, just statistically, you’re going to encounter people who don’t love the way YOU do things and the way YOU give readings.

You get to use those experiences to help you grow and improve where you can, but you also don’t have to give those experiences more weight than all the positive experiences you have with giving readings. And you don’t have to be afraid of those experiences.

Because you will not be for everyone. 

You just won’t be. 

And because of that, that self-doubt never fully goes away. 

BUT, you do have to make your peace with both not being for everyone and with having some level of self-doubt pop up every now and then. 

Over time, you start getting better at recognizing that self-doubt when it pops up and not giving your power away to it. 

I always like to look at it like your self-doubt is showing you your edges. It’s showing you where you can heal your own inner-wounds, where you can grow, and where you can uplevel. 

And also, since we all have self-doubt, exploring and making friends with yours will make you an even more powerful HD reader and guide - because I guarantee, no matter what niche you’re in or who you’re doing readings for - your clients will have self-doubt or imposter syndrome in some area that you get to help them move through. 

So that’s it! Those are my 3 secrets as a Human Design reader.

For a long time, I was terrified to launch The Wealthy Woman Oracle Deck.

I was a little ashamed to admit this, but I want to be transparent about my own journey. 


For a long time, I was terrified to launch The Wealthy Woman Oracle Deck.


I’ve been teaching on money mindset for several years now, so I’m no stranger to publicly talking about money. 


But the deck felt different. 


It felt bigger.


Because I knew that in creating it, I was putting these messages around money into a different format - one that would likely reach a much wider audience than I ever had before.


And that scared me. 


Because it didn’t feel safe for me to talk about money (especially on a spiritual level). 


Why?


Because a lot of people are easily triggered by money. 


People get angry when someone (especially a woman) is saying that money can be easy or that the way we’re taught that money works isn’t always true…


And that’s because questioning our perception of money (and reality) is incredibly uncomfortable for most people. 


It took me a while to identify that this was why I was afraid to put this deck out into the world. 


But once I did, realized that that was the exact reason why I NEEDED to create and share it. 


Because money shouldn’t be taboo.


It’s such a HUGE part of all our lives…we SHOULD be able to talk about it, to share different views on it, to all learn and heal and grow around it. 


So I forged forward, and I’m so glad I did. 


Because the deck has changed my life in miraculous ways and pushed my financial reality to new standards I couldn’t have imagined before. 


And it’s already changed the financial reality of others (like the artist who illustrated the deck - more on that will be shared on the WWO IG account down the road!). 


I made this deck to help the world heal and transform the way we all relate to money. 


Ultimately, I made this deck for you. 


Because if you’ve read this far, I’m willing to bet that you’re courageous enough to believe that all the wealth you desire is available to you. 


It’s a rebellious act to talk about money.


But it’s an even more courageous act to look inward and transform your own relationship with it.

Two years ago, I had an idea...

Two years ago, I had an idea.

Human Design and Abundance: How each energy type makes money

I’ve said this a million times and it’s what I’ve built so much of my business around, but I’m going to say it again: 

Everyone is designed to make money differently.

We all have unique skills, ways of interacting with others, ways of working, and ways of learning and sharing (which is all captured in our Human Design charts). 

So that means that we’re all going to approach money differently from one another. 

There so much to say around this, but what I want to give you today is a very quick explanation of how each of the 5 energy types are designed to make money.

Each energy type’s superpower around money, if you will. Their way of approaching it and calling it in. Their energetic signature with wealth. 

Manifestors make money by…channeling the path to abundance.With their direct connection to the universe, Manifestors are constantly receiving inspiration that’s leading them to the abundance they desire. 

Generators make money bymagnetizing abundance.

As Generators follow what excites them, they naturally generate an energy that pulls money & opportunities to make money to them. 

Manifesting Generators make money by…quantum-leaping into new levels of abundance.

MG’s can easily use the channeled guidance they receive from the universe + their excitement to quantum leap into new levels of wealth.

Projectors make money by…guiding the flow of abundance.

When a Projector has the opportunity to guide others and streamline/improve things, they are able to pave the path for money to come to them with little resistance. 

Reflectors make money by…amplifying the potential for abundance in their environment.

With all nine energy centers undefined, Reflectors are easily able to pick up on the most profitable traits of any project or person and amplify them in order to call in more money. 

Keep in mind that no energy type is inherently better at making money than other energy types. 

Like anything in Human Design, it’s all about HOW you leverage these gifts and work with your natural flow with money.

Human Design Compatibility in Relationships

“Is my Human Design compatible with my husband’s Human Design?” 

This question (or some version of it) is something I’ve been asked countless times. 

I’ve done a lot of Human Design readings.

And I mean A LOT. 

At the time of writing this, I’ve done well over 300 private readings. (And that doesn’t count all the mini-readings I’ve done as a guest expert for various mastermind and virtual retreats, or in my various programs.) 

And I’ve probably heard this question about 80 times. (I haven’t been keeping track of how often it’s asked, but believe me when I say it’s frequent.) 

I get it. It’s a valid question.

Especially since Human Design is such a powerful tool for understanding others and how you can interact more harmoniously with them. 

But every time I get asked this question, regardless of whatever the design is for either of the people involved has, my answer is always the same: “Yes and no.” 

Here’s the deal: I don’t think there’s any one combination of Human Design elements that’s more or less compatible than another. 

There are teachings in Human Design that say that Profile or combined defined energy centers (this gets into connection/composite charts) can indicate compatibility.

But, at least in my opinion, those teachings are dogmatic and paint an incomplete picture of what true compatibility is in Human Design. 

Here’s what matters most in terms of compatibility between two people: are you both individually living in alignment with your designs? 

On paper, you and another person could be “compatible” per traditional Human Design teachings. But if one - or both - of you aren’t living in alignment with your individual design, then conflict and struggle is going to be much more likely to crop up in your relationship, no matter the nature of it. 

Alternatively, you and another person could be “incompatible” per traditional Human Design, but if you’re both living your designs properly, there’s a much greater likelihood that you’ll find harmony in your relationship. 

And beyond that, each design is SO unique (especially when you get down into the nitty gritty stuff like gates and channels and circuitry), that how a relationship will play out isn’t something that can be predicted or dictated by Human Design. Nor should it be. 

At the end of the day, Human Design is a tool. 

It’s not meant to predict things or doom you or your relationships. 

Human Design, or any spiritual modality, should never be used as an excuse for why a relationship isn’t working OR to give you false hope around a relationship that isn’t healthy for you.

It’s just a tool to help you self-reflect so you can learn to trust your inner-guidance, understand others, and navigate life with more confidence.

So where does that leave us with compatibility in Human Design?

Even though there aren’t any markers in a chart that I refer to in order to determine how compatible two charts are, I still use Human Design all the time (both in my own life and in my clients) to help me create better relationships - and even co-create money more effectively with others

But the way we go about it is to look at HOW Human Design can help increase our compatibility, rather than looking to it to dictate it. 

So I’ll offer you what I often offer my clients in this situation…

Instead of asking “Is my Human Design compatible with this other person?”, I encourage my clients to ask questions like:

  • How can I use Human Design to understand this other person better?

  • How can I use Human Design to bring out the best in this other person?

  • How can I use Human Design to better communicate with this other person?

  • How can I use Human Design to strengthen our relationship? 

  • How can I use Human Design to shine a light on where I’m not living my design (or the other person isn’t living their design), and what can I do to gently shift that? 

Where can I find more info on how to use Human Design to improve my relationships?

In the past, I’d say “book a private reading” - whether with me or another Human Design reader - to get insight into how you can best use Human Design to improve your relationships in all areas of your life. 

And that’s still a great piece of advice!

3 Human Design Tips for Co-Creating Money With Others

Your partner/boss/co-worker/team member isn’t designed to make money the same way YOU are. 

I didn’t understand this until I got deep into the Human Design world. (You can read more about how I struggled with money in my relationships here.) 

But this has probably been the most powerful realization I’ve had around money, business, and relationships: we’re all designed to make money differently. 

This was a HUGE game-changer for me when I realized it

It makes sense when you think about it…

The big mistake most of us make is in thinking that everyone is built to approach money the same way we are. 

But we all have different skills, different talents, different life experiences, different educations, different backgrounds, etc. 

And that means that all those things will be applied in a unique way to how we each think about money and how we each make money. 

The truth is that making money is really about working with your gifts AND working with others’ gifts

This is why I love Human Design - it gives us a system to use to identify, appreciate, and leverage OUR own gifts for making money PLUS the gifts others’ have for making money. 

Because when we know how to bring OUR best selves to the table + know how to encourage OTHERS to bring their best selves to the table…we can make money with more ease than ever before. 

But HOW do we use Human Design to co-create money with others? 

Co-creating money per Human Design comes down to this formula:

Understanding YOUR Human Design + Understanding the OTHER person’s Human Design + Understanding how BOTH your designs work TOGETHER


We can use ALL parts of our design - and others’ designs - to tap into the most effortless way we can create abundance with others (whether that’s with your business partner, your co-workers, your team members, or your life partner). 

And I go deeper into this in the Human Design + Co-Creating Money Masterclass inside of the HD HQ membership (more on that in a bit). 

But to give you somewhere to start today, here are 3 tips on how to use Human Design to co-create money with others:

  1. Learn about YOUR energy type + the OTHER person’s (who you’re co-creating money with) energy type. 

  2. Since energy type tells us how we best work and engage with others, make a list of all the strengths of each of your energy types (particularly around work). Look at the ways these strengths are similar and ways that they’re different. 

  3. Look at how you can shift the way that you both are approaching money, talking about money, or going about making money. Are there any obvious things that need to shift to honor each of your unique gifts more? Do either/both of you need to do less of something OR more of something in order to apply these gifts to any money-related activities (spending, saving, budgeting, working, etc.)? 

Examining energy type is a great place to start harnessing Human Design to create more ease and abundance as you co-create with others. 

Applying just this one aspect of Human Design to the relationships where you’re co-creating money can create a world of difference in your relationships AND in your financial reality.

How Human Design healed my relationships & made me a fuck ton more money

Confession: I have A LOT more money problems than I’ve shared here before.

I’m not talking about “traditional” money problems (though in the past I’ve had over $100k of debt and struggled to make money in my business when I first started out - and I’ve shared a lot about how I worked through all of that over the last several years).

But something I haven’t shared - mostly because I wasn’t aware of it until a year or two ago - is how I struggled with money in my relationships. 

Things like: 

  • Feeling resentment towards family members around money

  • Being extremely annoyed by my co-workers and management in my old day job

  • Thinking everyone around me in my professional life was incompetent/doing things wrong

  • Not being on the same page as my husband about our finances

  • Not feeling supported by team members I hired into my business (and feeling like they were losing my business money instead of helping to create more)

Reading this list over to myself, it’s now no surprise to me that I used to think that money was so unattainable! 

Of course it felt like money was hard to make - not just because I felt like I had to work hard to MAKE it, but because I felt like I also had to work hard to CONVINCE others that they should want to hire me or pay me or work like me or spend/save like me. 

It wasn’t until I discovered Human Design that I realized what I’d been missing my whole life: we each have a unique way of making money. 

This was the game changer for me. 

When I started applying my Human Design to my business, I went from $2k months to $10k months almost overnight. 

But it wasn’t until I started using Human Design to understand how the people around me were designed to make money that my relationships improved dramatically and my business REALLY took off.

Once I started intentionally using Human Design to co-create money with the people in my life, I:

  • Started making $35k+ months in my business

  • Was able to release resentment towards family members and people in my past around money

  • Got on the same page with financial allocation and goals with my husband

  • Was able to hire team members who made me feel supported in my business

It’s taken me a year or two to really explore how this all works in the Human Design system (because I don’t see anyone else out there connecting the dots between how two peoples’ designs come together AND how they can leverage that to create abundance).

5 Tips for Human Design Readers

I’ve done over 200 private Human Design readings in the last year alone (not to mention the 1,000+ people who have taken my various other free and paid programs around HD).

In a very short amount of time, I’ve become an expert and leader in the Human Design field (being invited on countless podcasts, getting paid to give virtual speaking gigs or perform group readings for masterminds, being included in several publications and top Human Design experts lists, etc.).

And now that my private Human Design readings are fully booked up for the rest of the year (I’m taking half a year off from them for my baby’s arrival) and The Ultimate Human Design Reader Resource has launched and helped countless people start their own Human Design Reading services.…

I’m reflecting back on the top tips I have for anyone who is (or wants to be) a Human Design reader.

These are the things I wish that I had known when I first started offering readings:

  1. You know ENOUGH to give a powerful reading.
    If you have studied and understand the foundational knowledge of Human Design, then you know enough to give a good reading.

    There will always be MORE you can learn about Human Design (seriously, it’s a nearly never-ending rabbit hole of more and more advanced information). But you don’t need to know ALL of it to be a powerful reader.

  2. Sometimes the most simple things are the most powerful things.
    Some of the most powerful readings I’ve given have been ones were we focused on Energy Type and Authority for a full hour.

    I LOVE going deeper into a chart (and my 5/1 profile wants to give people ALL the info I can cram into an hour long reading), but sometimes the most empowering reading you can give is a simple one.

  3. Focus on empowering people with a reading.
    Make the point of a reader to empower your clients by giving them permission to be themselves and value their unique gifts.

    Never pose anything as a limitation, but as an opportunity (EVERYTHING in HD can either be used to help or hinder you).

    The gift of Human Design is that it invites us to love ourselves and our natural/authentic way of being.

    The point of a reading isn’t to regurgitate info you memorized about HD. It’s about helping the person whose chart you’re reading reconnect with how powerful and limitless they uniquely are.

  4. Connect the dots for your clients.
    Give simple, actionable tips for your clients to help them implement their design. Whether this is tips for listening to their authority, honoring their strategy, or leveraging specific gates…give clear tips for HOW they can use the info you’re giving them.

  5. Learn more about YOUR design.
    Take time to read your own chart (or even have another reader do a reading for you).

    Get to know your own superpowers (particularly per your gates/channels/circuitry). And then USE those superpowers in your readings.

    This is such a powerful way to both deepen your own understanding of HD, and also develop your own style as a reader.

    Because how YOU interpret HD - and how you give readings - will look very different from how others do it. Because we’re all designed differently, after all.

Most people think that being a skilled Human Design reader is all about knowing ALL THE THINGS about Human Design.

But it’s more about tapping into something deeper. Something that empowers both your client AND you.

Becoming a powerful Human Design reader is 50% having a firm understanding of Human Design principles, 30% knowing how to empower people with your readings and making the info you give them applicable, and 20% having confidence in your knowledge & unique gifts.

Just remember that Human Design is a tool.

We all will interpret and use it differently.

And the way that YOU read charts is perfect for you and the clients who are aligned with you.
